The Legal team is made up of solutions-oriented individuals who collaborate and drive towards closing deals. This problem-solving department manages a variety of matters, including, without limitation, customer contracts, vendor agreements, trademarks and litigation.

Procurement
The Procurement team is responsible for all purchasing operations for Switch, overseeing domestic purchasing, vendor qualifications, contracts and processing. They also provide constant analysis of smarter and more cost-effective ways to improve Switch’s bottom line.

Strategic Initiatives
The Strategic Initiatives team is focused on enabling and facilitating corporate strategy by guiding, managing, measuring, and reporting high-impact, complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve the bottom line. This team also leads all initiatives around government, public policy and issue advocacy while monitoring and engaging in legislative advocacy at the federal, state, local and regulatory level to advance the policy and business objectives of Switch. The team’s wide range of initiatives include M&A activities, corporate development, strategic partnerships, system integrations and special projects identified during annual corporate strategic planning. 

Branding
The Branding team creates and drives the Switch brand globally. This department includes art direction, graphic design, product development, 3-D, photo/video production, interior design, team member engagement, philanthropy, marketing, and web development. Their “design think” and “whatever it takes” mentality helps bring Rob Roy’s vision for Switch and all of his companies from the idea stages into literal visual expression and ultimately into reality.

Engagement
The Engagement team is centered on the people who make up Switch. This team drives all aspects of communication, collaboration and learning for Switch team members through thoughtfully curated content on our internal communications platform, strategically executed events, and interactive educational programming. The Engagement team ensures that Switch’s mission critical mindset and core values are at the forefront of every team member experience.

Human Resources
The Human Resources team manages recruiting, on-boarding, state, local and federal employment law compliance, compensation, benefits and leave administration, payroll and taxes, Human Resources Information System, employee relations, performance, organizational structure assistance, and company policy and procedure compliance. Their overall relations with team members support an informed, healthy, fair and equitable work environment, and happy engagement with Switch.

LIFE MUSE
LIFE MUSE is an innovative corporate wellness division designed to inspire well-balanced lifestyles for every team member at Switch. This team’s mission is driven by 6 main pillars: Health, Fitness, Recovery, Nutrition, Meditation, and Professional Development.

The Construction team expertly directs and oversees the planning, engineering, design and construction of all Switch facilities. Their committed focus, record-setting speed and ability to complete projects under budget ensures excellence and moves our company forward to continually exceed the market’s demand.

Data Center Operations

Switch’s Data Center Operations team consists of highly-trained professionals responsible for the power and environmental control, appearance, physical integrity, maintenance and client infrastructure installation at all Switch facilities. This detail-oriented team keeps Switch’s heart beating by ensuring 100% up-time and unmatched client experience for the highest-rated, most advanced data center infrastructure on the planet.

The Data Center Services team consists of technical professionals responsible for Switch Client onboarding and project coordination. This team works to verify client orders, facilitate data center location assignments and manage the installation of colocation, power and connectivity. Keeping each client’s mission critical project on target and on schedule is this team’s top priority.

Sales
The Switch Sales team owns the sales strategies, tour experiences and selling of all Switch products. They are the committed ambassadors showcasing Switch’s intelligently designed, sustainably powered and strategically located hyperscale data center ecosystems to ultimately secure the continued growth and success of Switch.

Marketing
The Marketing team is focused on establishing a data-driven foundation using analytics to make real-time decisions regarding Switch’s marketing strategies through digital, social, email and live/virtual event channels. This team constantly strives to innovate outreach practices, perfect automated lead tracking methods and to visualize marketing ROI and performance. The ultimate purpose of the marketing department is to drive demand, lead generation and to contribute revenue to support Switch’s local, national and channel sales teams.

Security Operations
The Security Operations team monitors and enforces the safety and protection of all Switch facilities, infrastructure, clients and team members. They are the front line for our company’s brand experience and our safety.
