Scott Gutierrez is the Vice President of Connectivity Sales and Engineering at SUPERNAP. Scott works closely with the company’s global carrier partners to ensure the SUPERNAP data centers globally are among the most cost-effective and network-enabled facilities in the world. His division also works with clients on all aspects of network design, engineering, negotiations, procurement and provisioning of telecommunications services from the company’s global carrier partners. The company’s unique fiber optic gateway is one of the most robust network access points (NAP) in North America.
Prior to joining SUPERNAP in 2011, Scott spent 14 years as an executive in the telecommunications industry where he led sales and engineering teams at Level 3 Communications, Abovenet Communications and Airband Communications providing high capacity data, dark fiber and wireless solutions to Fortune 500 enterprise, carrier and government clients.
Scott serves as a Member of the Governor appointed Nevada Broadband Task Force responsible for evaluation of public and private infrastructure needs, creation of broadband policies, and advancing the capabilities in underserved K-12 schools.
