The Union Switch & Signal (US&S) MicroLok® Object Controller (OC) is a low cost, compact, programmable microprocessor device used for vital or non-vital control and indication of wayside devices such as switches, signals, or other equipment.
Conceived in close collaboration with our customers, the US&S MicroLok OC is the latest offering from our family of time proven, vital logic controller products. The OC is a low cost, efficiently packaged, vital/non-vital logic controller with variable inputs and outputs. This product offers both Ethernet and serial link communication options and provides an integrated TCP/IP stack to allow compatibility with commercial communications products.
The utility, packaging and functional characteristics of the OC make it ideally suited for a variety of applications including:
- Hand throw or power switch machine monitoring and/or control
- Intermediate signal vital logic
- Remote device monitoring
- Movable bridge miter joint alignment
The application of this product offers the utmost flexibility and ease of use by offering several configuration options based on the customer’s needs as well as a simple, easy to use web based maintenance tools package for troubleshooting.
Each OC series features a specific set of I/O configurations to provide the user with the flexibility to monitor and control a wide variety of vital and non-vital devices within a single package.
