- Medical coverage is a Point of Service plan.

- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free, confidential counseling to employees and their families.
- 401(K) plan permits employee contribution of up to 25% of salary (or up to the Federal maximum). US&S matches 100% for the first $250.00 annually and 50% on the balance up to 6% of salary. Matches are vested at 25% after 2 years, at 50% after 3 years, 75% after 4 years, and 100% after 5 years.
- Additional 401(K) contributions equal to 2% of employee basic annual salary are made by US&S on a biweekly basis.
- Life insurance is provided at one times "basic annual earnings" for no cost. Additional insurance is available for purchase based on salary and age graded rates.
- Vacation ranges from 10 to 25 days, based upon years of service.
- Holidays include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Friday following, Christmas, and additional year-end days as determined by management.
- Short-term disability as determined by length of service, subject to the schedule of salary continuation in effect when disability commences.
- Long-term disability provides up to 60% of basic monthly salary, not to exceed $5,000, beginning on the 181st day of disability.
- Optional flexible spending accounts are available as voluntary deductions for flexible medical and dependent care expenses.
- Tuition Reimbursement to provide reimbursement up to a certain dollar amount per credit (adjusted on an annual basis) according to work location. Reimbursement will also be made for books and certain fees for approved courses upon receipt of "C" or better for undergraduate work or "B" or better for graduate work.
- Employee Referral Program, available after six months, provides up to $2,000.00 before taxes for a successful referral to fill selected positions.
- Flextime provisions place no restrictions on supervisor-approved flex hours.
